Hey, guys. I'm really sorry. I haven't been on in such a long time. School, the play, my five big projects ... sorry for the excuses, but I really don't have much else to explain my absence. I can tell you I've been writing a whole lot. In fact, we just went on a vacation with a 10 hour drive each way, so I've written a few things. The main part is though that what I've written does not match up to where I am now in the story. And the 100 theme challenge? We'll see when that starts back up.

Good news: got my driver's license; biggest English project of the year is over; got to work on a play and a musical this semester; feeling better about meself.

Hope you all have a good spring (unless you're in the southern hemisphere, then it would be more like fall) but anyways, I'll try to update sooner.

The spring play for my school has started. We're doing "The Unusual Suspects." It's quite humorous. And I am Prop Mistress (it actually said that on the sheet the Tech sponsor put up, I'm not making that up). And true to my title last year of 'OCD Prop Lady', I have already made a list of all the props, who uses them, what scene they're in, etc. Alas, what a life I have! Not that I'm complaining, for I'm not. I'm getting back into the gist (haha, vocab for all those who know what I'm talking about) of writing, for the book we're reading for English, Fahrenheit 451, has us doing a lot of questions and thinking. I am not writing on the cosmic scale I used to, but I am getting my perfunctorily routine back and any misconceptions you guys had of me lagging off and forgetting about it all will be sated.

I know I have been late with absolutely everything, but I can assure all of you that know that structure has re-entered my life, I will be able to write much more that the past few weeks have suggested. As you can see, Stay With Me is still continuing, as my direction has been refound, and I will continue on with the 100 theme challenge. For all of you who actually do come to read this journal, thanks so much.

Sorry for the lack of updates on just about anything, lately. I've just been pushing it all off, as I do with many things. Sorry to those fans of Fortifying Elements, but I have been contemplating ending the series, because fanfiction is most certianly not my forte, but I'll give myself a few more weeks and see if a good idea arises within my mind for a new chapter.

Sorry to those of Stay With Me. I have been procrastinating with you as well. If you did not know, I am currently working on three novels all intertwined with one another (kinda along the lines of the Tithe trilogy). My mind has been preocupied with one of the other story lines for a while, but I will get more chapters up for that.

I am stressing out a little, because next week is our final in Honors English 2, a very rigorous class, and the final just so happens to be an oral presentation (this is where the screaming starts) on a book I have not finished yet. And even worse, our teacher has not given out the guidelines for the presentation (I hope he gives them out tomorrow).

First semester ends in two weeks, actually only 9 days of school left. End of semester is wonderful, but my final in art history is starting to creep up on me because that's lots of memorization, which is most certianly not my thing. I'm pretty sure I'll be okay on the Ancient Egyptian and Greek art, but the Roman, Gothic, and Renaissance is what scares me.

Today, I did not have school. I live in the midwest where the big ice storm has hit, though luckily, it wasn't that bad where I live, only about a 1/8 to 1/4 covering of ice. This morning, I went out to the bus stop ( I leave at 6:35), and stood out there for about twenty minutes, trying to avoid falling, again, on the sheet of ice that blanketed the roads and sidewalks, and watching the pre-adolescent boys sliding on the street. Then, finally, one of the guy's dads came out and yelled to us that school was cancelled.

Not a whole lot else has happened. Today, I attempted to make fresh bread, but the yeast was old and the inside of the bread looked more like a baked potato. Heroes is gone for the year (sadly) along with Chuck. Oh well, at least Beastmaster is still here.
